Maps
Basemap tiles are served via MapLibre. Streets mode uses CARTO Voyager (OpenStreetMap + CARTO). Terrain and hybrid modes add Esri raster tiles with CARTO labels. Use the map attribution control (bottom-right) for the current providers.

Planning content
Planning scheme and guide excerpts in Urb.Works are sourced from Victorian government materials (typically under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 via DataVic). Always verify against the official planning instrument and council records before relying on outputs for a permit or legal decision.
Google Maps
Urb.Works uses Google Maps Platform for address geocoding and, when configured, server-side Static Map snapshots stored on locked parcel records. These images are not shown in the web UI today; if displayed in future, Google attribution will be shown per Google’s requirements.
Open source
Urb.Works web and API builds include many open-source packages (MIT, BSD, Apache-2.0, and others). See the full third-party notices for package names, versions, and licences.
